Earned his Associate of Applied Science from SUNY at Delhi in 1970, Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 1972 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 1978. He is a NY State licensed and accredited Veterinarian plus a member of the AVMA, NYSVMS and HVVMS. After practicing for 3 years in Glen Cove, NY and Danbury, CT, Dr. McCord moved to Hopewell Junction with his wife Anne, who is a Delhi Veterinary Technician, and 2 daughters (Christine and Karen) and founded the East Fishkill Animal Hospital in 1981. His medical strengths are in general diagnostics and surgery. He has trained and provided guidance to other local veterinarians over the years and enjoys sharing his expertise.
Dr. McCord has published over 60 scientific articles and lectures across the country and world on animal related topics. In addition to caring for the animals at his Animal Hospital, he also works with local humane organizations.
Dr.Gonzalez is a new home owner in the East Fishkill Community. Earned her DVM from Ross University in 2008; she attended Purdue University for her senior clinics. She also earned a Veterinary Associate of Applied Science degree from Suny Farmingdale in 1992 and was a licensed veterinary technician for many years before going to Veterinary School. Dr Gonzalez worked for the Bronx Zoo as a Veterinary Technician; as a director for the Center for Animal Care and Control, Brooklyn Shelter; and as an Animal Health Technician for NYS Depatment of Animal Industry for five years.
Annette has special interest in soft tissue surgery, along with exotics and pocket pets. She also enjoys working with local farms, caring for llamas, sheep, goats and alpacas. Dr. Gonzalez is an active member of the AVMA, NYSVMS, HVVMS and The Association of Small Ruminant Practionors. She enjoys time spent with family and friends .
Dr. Knapp is a native New Yorker; earned her BS from the University of Rhode Island in 2003 and her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine, California in 2009.
Nicole is an active member of the AVMA and the NYSVMS.
Dr. Knapp specializes in Internal Medicine and has experience with tigers in Zoo Medicine in California. After practicing in California for 3 years, she moved back to New York with her husband of 5 yrs and her two Miniture Dachshunds.
